- Milan officials are meeting with Sassuolo next week with talks progressing well
- The Rosseneri looking to secure Locattelli type loan deal with buy obligation
- Berardi is Seria A’s leading right sided attacking player this season with 28 goals & assists
AC Milan are closing in on their second summer signing with Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi expected to occupy the Rossoneri’s right wing for the coming season.
Berardi, now an established Italian international, has had another impressive season with Sassuolo, scoring 14 goals and assisting another 14 in just 27 appearances to date. Numbers that make him currently the most lethal winger in Italian football.
Sassuolo €30 million asking price is quoted as being a stumbling block, although it seems fair market value for a player in his prime with two more years on this contract. Dejan Kulusevski €42 Million move to Spurs would suggest AC Milan are getting a real bargain.
Reports are suggesting a Manuel Locatelli type deal is currently being negotiated with Sassuolo, which saw Locatelli move to Juventus on a 2 year loan deal with a €25 million obligation to buy, and €12.5 potential addons based on the players performance.
