The Dutch International defender looks set to seal a move overseas having previously enjoyed spells in Germany with Wolfsburg. Journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Bazoer is one of a number of targets currently under consideration by the French outfit.
Bazoer, 25, was one of Vitesse Arnhem top performers last season and is also attracting strong interest from Bundesliga sides Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Mönchengladbach. Jose Mourinho’s Roma and Fiorentina in Serie A have also both made concrete proposals to Bazoer’s agent.
“There are many interested parties and many contacts. Some clubs have already become concrete. But making a decision is quite difficult.” admits the 25-year-old.
“The decisive factor is the sporting aspect; money only plays a supporting role.” Bazoer recently commented.
Bazoer will be hoping his latest move will boost his international selection chances with the Qatar World Cup now around the corner. The defender’s previous caps came back in 2015.
