Ligue 1 Champions Paris Saint-Germain have endured another challenging season, with superstar signing Lionel Messi leading to lofty Champions League expectations for the Parisians. Fan dishormoney and the seemingly inevitable managerial departure of Maurizio Pochettino, is leading to a number of star players evaluating their futures this summer.

According to reports in Italy, Verrati has already let it be known he’s ready for a return to his home land, “They tell me that Verratti would return to play in Italy tomorrow morning”, cited journalist Stefano Benzion CMIT TV.
Italy’s EURO 2020 exploits further cemented Marco Verrati’s place amongst Europe’s elite midfielders. PSG would loath to lose one of their talisman, and an improved long term contract offer beyond his current €9m package could well keep the diminutive midfielder in France.

Verrati’s current contract conditions are certainly beyond the means of Juventus, Interand AC Milan. New AC owners Investcorp could announce their arrival in Italy with a marquee signing and break their salary structure, although it’s understood Verrati would be required to take a considerable salary cut to return to Serie A.
